Density options
Choose from three plant density options to suit your desired look and coverage: 100% (20 pots per sqm) for a lush full-coverage effect, 80% (16 pots per sqm) for balanced greenery, or 60% (12 pots per sqm) for a lighter plant coverage.
Irrigation zones
If you’re creating more than one garden, or a larger garden with different environmental conditions, we recommend a 2 zone irrigation unit to tailor the watering requirements to each area.
Tap splitters
Once you set-up the irrigation your tap needs to remain on at all times so that the garden doesn’t dry out. Add on a 2-way splitter so you can keep your tap on for irrigation while still using a hose or other water sources as needed.
Frequently Asked Questions
What comes included in a vertical wall garden kit?
A vertical wall garden kit typically includes modular panels, durable planters, and the mounting hardware you need to fix the system securely to your wall. Depending on the kit, you may also receive irrigation fittings or drip lines to simplify watering. Plants are usually not included, giving you the freedom to choose herbs, flowers, or greenery that best suits your space. Each vertical garden wall planter kit is designed to be both practical and flexible, so you can start small and expand as your garden grows.
How do I install a vertical garden wall planter?
MATCH PREVIOUS
Do vertical garden wall planter kits come with irrigation or do I need to water manually?
Many vertical garden wall planter kits are compatible with optional irrigation systems. VGA’s small freestanding units can be hand-watered using a watering can or hose, but a standard vertical garden needs irrigation to ensure correct and even watering across all plants.
How much maintenance do vertical wall garden kits need?
Any type of garden and landscaping needs TLC. The automated irrigation kit takes care of a big part of the maintenance, then other important tasks to consider are fertilising, pest control, checking dripper heads and irrigation from time to time, seasonal pruning and clearing away leaf litter from drip trays.
Can I expand my vertical wall garden kit later?
Yes, one of the key benefits of a vertical wall garden kit is its modular design. You can start with a small system and add mesh and pots as your needs change. This scalability makes it easy to transform a single wall section into a lush, full-sized green wall over time.
